This morning we had breakfast on the beach.
Thirteen-year-old Olivia, who has been volunteering at camp, came to give us $175 that she raised by playing the violin for one hour at Illumination Night!
I say take that kid out of school and put her to work for us.
Thanks, Olivia! Wow!
And now, a medley of unflattering photos of people with food in their mouths.
Okay, now back to people looking adorable.
It was Liana's birthday today!
Andrew Z. and Mekka look for aquatic creatures.
On our way back to camp.
Impromptu dance party on the bus!
After lunch, we go to the Fair!
And without further ado, our favorite ride: The Counselor Crusher.
Brie, you're on the wrong side!
Thank you, Kerkira, for taking those action photos!
We hung out with friends...
...stayed hydrated...
...went on more rides...
...and did some shopping.
Only one counselor and one camper puked on a ride!
Kyle, shortly before vomiting on the Casino ride. |
Reid, immediately after barfing on the Zipper. |
(Here's a happy photo of Kyle so you'll know he's okay!) |
We visited the exhibits...
...the animals...
(Okay, there are a lot of photos of Heather because she happened to be accompanying this blogger/photographer. I promise all the other campers are alive and well and we love them just as much.)
Goodbye, the Fair! We'll see you next year!
Today's Human of Jabberwocky: Heather
(C'mon, are you surprised?)
"Horses are so precious. My horse used to eat hay. But she passed away."
