Our breakfast on the beach was cancelled today (who wants soggy campers and eggs anyway) so we changed gears and had some morning activities instead.
Our art project was based off of a wall hanging made of wire, but we thought pipe cleaners would be safer and they just feel better. (so soft) And they are just fun to play with. Each camper was supposed to make a square to add to a hanging sculpture/quilt.
Jeremy decided to make a fashion statement.
If you look read close you can see Jabber spelled out. They finished it.
Andrew got a bit carried away. We admire his enthusiasm.
The other groups included bingo and board games, and there was a variety of activities in the studio.
Our finished masterpiece. Almost looks like a map. (That is, if you tilt your head a bit to the left, squint your eyes, and use your imagination)
In the afternoon, we loaded up and headed out to Flatbread Pizza for some dancing and a bit of eating. So good.
Our dancing doctors, Sonja and Daniel.
We then returned to camp and watched the camp play which the campers don't often get to see. It was so much fun to see again, and for the newly arrived, to watch for the first time. What stars we are.
