Baby, you're a firework!

Gentle blog readers, the photos loaded in reverse order and we have to get up in 6.5 hours for the 5K race for Jabberwocky. So please enjoy hearing about our day... backwards.

Okay, you all know what fireworks look like.

That's Gage and Kevin

But do you know how fun it is to see fireworks that are being narrated by Michael F. ("Pot-roast!" "Who am I? Big fat stinky fireworks!") or Nathan ("Ooh, rattlesnake!" "Spaghetti and meatballs!")

And do you know how fun it is to watch fireworks while Grace sings "America"?

Waiting for the fireworks to begin

Chris B. terrifies us with his spooky flashlight!

We ran into Olivia there.

Grace was a little nervous before the fireworks began, but then it was fine.

Previously, at the beach.

Chris B. is a renaissance man (athlete, scholar, and gentleman), since he has a sword, a pen, and a sandal.

The snoozer above is Chris B.; the one below is Kirk.
They really know how to relax.

On the bus on the way to the beach

Leys and other volunteers registered people for the race.

Our morning activities were sports/chalk drawing, French and Spanish taught by campers Athena and Kevin, and autobiography writing (sorry, this is the only one pictured here.)

Andrew W. went all literary on us.

Tomorrow is our last full day of camp! [sob]

If you haven't seen Molly's amazing Jabberwocky video to the song "Happy," you need to watch it right now.
