Changeover - New Campers, Same Weather

This morning was our usual chaotic changeover, where we played the "Where's the Luggage?" and "When's the Ferry?" games. We won both.

And just to make things even more fun, we sent some campers horseback riding.

So we added "Who's on What List?" and we still did fine.

Almost all the campers won "Catch the Ferry".

But we lost "Where's the Sun?"

 Good thing we have 2 baskets of lost and found raincoats. 

So, we filled the main cabin with games, excited campers, and potato chips.

We are flexible and fun.

We ended with a pre dinner dance party. We needed to get sweaty.

Tonight we will watch the movie of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, which is our play.

OUR PLAY IS  MONDAY AT 7:00.

Our last jam-packed day of week one.

We filled our day with exciting activities. 

We split the group and played a rip snorting game of Bingo and met Christine from the Audubon Society who brought some friends to visit.

Skip's hoping the prize is a Pepsi. (It's not)

And it was a beautiful day at the beach.

Tony and Kirk arm wrestle. (It's a guy thing)

This game is so intense. And the players so competitive. Or not.

You can almost hear the roar from the fans.

Can't have a ball game without some root beer.

Sat + Sun = Lots of Photos

On Saturday morning the entire camp descended upon Vineyard Haven to join the Where's Waldo contest. They had to visit 15 stores in town and find that elusive striped guy. Some of us got distracted in the ice cream shop and found other things instead.

I spy a Skipper.

I spy some bros.

And Miah loves spying everything.
We had lots of fun and may even win something.


Today, after lunch, we ventured to the beach, but it was a short visit.
Just a bit cold and windy.

We went to the band concert after dinner, and hoped that we wouldn't be in another crazy rain storm.

But, no worries. Just a few sprinkles.
We had raincoats this time.
