PLEASE KEEP CHECKING THE CMP BLOG DURING THE YEAR!!!

As the summer sessions come to a close we invite everyone to continue to check the blog during the year. We like to do winter activities together, called "Winter Follies." Winter Follies are adventures that campers and counselors do together outside of camp. Some of our past trips have included Celtic's games, museum trips, movies, hockey games, etc. We hope to add more trip this year and include more campers and counselors. The Winter Folly team hopes to have a list of upcoming trips in mid Sept. If you have any trip ideas or questions feel free to email Sully, head of Winter Follies, at kmsullivan5147@aol.com

T'was a Fair Day for a Fair

We started the day with breakfast on the beach and enjoyed a calm, beautiful morning.
Then, after lunch, we loaded up for the fair. We love the fair. The rides that make us sick, the food that makes us full, and the hot sun that makes us sweat.



Speaking of being in the hot sun too long, for some reason
Katie and Zoe decided to share the same outfit.

We had lots of delicious and nutritious food.

The Counselor Crusher is our favorite ride.

The campers and counselors always look happier

After we returned, we had free time,
so some decided to play a "friendly" game of Monopoly.
(It is such a friendly game.)

Those evil landlords decide what rent to charge.

Winding Down, or Up.

Today we ate, sang, stretched, made posters for the race,
(It's Saturday, so you better get moving)
ate, went to the beach, ate, and went to Illumination Night.
Whew.

Here are some photos from this morning's horse group.
They look pretty sharp.

One of the groups found the first camp house,
so we had to take the annual photo.
The residents are always happy to see us, and probably even happier
that we don't all want to come in and visit.

When the music stops, the houses light their lanterns.
They decorate the whole campground for this one night.

Party Day

Today Adam got to finish his fish project.
After catching and filleting a fish yesterday,
he cooked and devoured it today.
Nice job.

It's all in the presentation.

Today was also the Fialkow's picnic. We got to hang out in their pool,
ride on their new boat, eat, and run and jump and crawl.
It was a great day.

We got to ride on the party boat.

And then there were the races.
Wheelchair, wheelbarrow, sack, 3-legged,
and numerous other ridiculous ways to move.
