Studio Night - Jabberwocky's Got Talent!

Our sport this morning was frisbee and ladder golf.

Today's art class was a take on the Magic School Bus.

Of course, it was the Magic Camp Bus.

It went everywhere.

Sloan and Tina's bus went to Colorado to Jaz's wedding.

Miah's bus went to a volcano. Hot stuff.

Paul's went to the beach.

Others went to a bakery, to the moon, to Columbia, on the ferry and under the sea.

Tonight's entertainment was Studio Night.

As usual, it was unbelievably superfabulous.

Kristen hosted the evening with style.

"Walter Childs" wowed us with fantastic magic tricks.

Fogey did his monkey dance.

Robbie and Nick solved an arson case and locked the criminals up.

Momeraths thrilled us.

Jerry Springer created a ruckus.

Slithy Toves sang about Stacy's Mom.

G & G gave us their version of the evening news.

Mimsy hosted a wedding of the Brittany Spears twins.

Sloane practices her bridesmaid skills.

Another day of non-stop fun

Today we had horseback riding, crafts, baseball, pizza on the beach,

and then we went to watch the Sharks play baseball!!

( We got junk food and free t-shirts, too.) A great day.

Elaine was our guest artist and she did a collage (not college) activity.

Thanks Elaine. Come back again.

We love art class. (Well, I do)

We raced to the beach (well, sort of) and had pizza.

Then baseball. Martha's Vineyard has its own team.

Go Sharks! Beat the other guys!

And they did.

John and Kate competed in the Dizzy Bat Race.

You can't travel light when you're coming to Camp Jabberwocky.

In the afternoon we went to the beach for a cookout and a drumming concert.

And Justin helped carry towels. Thanks, Justin!

Michael "Harry" Harrison showed his photo album of an awards ceremony to his awesome new counselor Kate. . . and about a hundred other people. Gracias, Harry!

What a great counselor Brie is. She's making sure Hannah won't get sunburned legs.

At least I think that's what she's doing.

Maybe she's brushing up on her alligator wrestling skills.

We're Back!

Just testing to make sure I remember how to blog. Many of the counselors have arrived, and we are cleaning, and organizing, and sweating and eating lots of ice cream, and trying to go to the beach. (The rain keeps coming, dag nab it !) hope all the bad weather is done BEFORE the campers arrive on TUESDAY!
